There is little not to love about being an antique collector. The process of finding new treasures every day is a constant adventure and never gets old (pun intended!!). Part of this magical process involves never really knowing where you will end up exploring, and what new gems you will find by the end of each day. There is no feeling more exhilarating than experiencing each day, as it unfolds to reveal new discoveries around every corner.
I moved to Barcelona from the United States ten years ago, and every day is still just as much of an adventure as when I first moved here. I often find myself taking half an hour to walk just a few blocks due to being constantly drawn in by all of the little family-owned shops and stunning buildings that surround me. To say I am inspirationally obsessed with Barcelona would be a major understatement.
I am also deeply moved by the people here in Barcelona. Not only are they some of the most welcoming people I have ever met, but they are also beautifully open-minded and bursting with creativity. This loving creative energy in this magical city is felt everywhere; meandering through the tiny old-world streets, in every cafe and bakery, through every square and quaint shop filled with treasures.
Barcelona is so ‘sacred’ in so many ways, both old and new — from the elaborate Art Nouveau adorned buildings, to the hundreds of skilled artisans that make this city so special. If you haven’t been able to tell already, I can´t get enough of this amazing city!
In addition to antique jewelry - I´m a collector of Memento Mori art and objects
I´m an introverted extrovert.
I pride myself for having ‘an eye for the unusual’ and die-hard customer service. I´m not happy until my customers are happy!
I believe each and every one of us has a story to be told and a calling - it is so important to follow your heart,

Meet the Curator
Hello, my name is Brandyce and I am the curator and owner of Sacred Barcelona.
I am a previous ‘brick & mortar’ boutique owner, who made the switch over to running an online store in 2003.
I have loved antiques ever since I was a young girl, and I have always been inspired by the fashion industry, as well as vintage and antique jewelry and clothing. As a child, I spent quite a bit of time with my maternal grandmother and I loved going through her jewelry collection and exploring her “going out” closet, where she kept all of her elegant dinner and evening wear. My uncle has also been a great inspiration to me. His love of jewels (and his lively imagination) was a definitive influencing factor that ignited a spark for all things vintage and antique. I will never forget when my uncle gave me my first Limoges porcelain trinket box from France. Little did he know that in offering me this cherished gift, he was also offering me a gift that would stay with me my whole adult life - a passion for collecting, and the feeling of pure wonderment that is still as strong today as it was for me as a child - for this I am forever grateful.
